| 06/01/2003 - Aaaaaaand we're done! 05/10/2003 - House blessing at 3:00pm 04/26/2003 - We finally see an end to the drywalling. Hurray for professional drywallers! On to the paint! 03/29/2003 - Siding and drywalling. Next week: more drywalling. 03/01/2003 & 03/02/2003 - After an inspections snafu, we're up and working again with the fun stuff that is insulation. 02/01/2003 & 02/02/2003 - It was all about efficiency this weekend as more wall framing madness went on. 11/23/2002 - Framing the basement walls, shoveling dirt, and yet more insulation. 11/16/2002 - More insulation, more building, and something involving building and then taking apart ladders. 11/9/2002 & 11/10/2002 - It's starting to look like a house! The second floor walls are up! This weekend we also worked on insulation, dug holes to support the porch, and raked and shoveled gravel. Lots of it. 11/02/2002 - Laying rimboard, more flooring, walls, and an Amish barn raising. 10/26/2002 - Framing and flooring. Swing those hammers! For the curious, yes we are nailing everything in by hand. No nail guns here! 10/20/2002 - Groundbreaking ceremony! A small celebration with our homeowners and the key players in making this house possible. 10/19/2002 - Construction begins! Laying drain tile, applying tar to the foundation, placing insulation, busy, busy, busy... |
